About:
Evolved Police Response is an immersive police mod which aims to improve the police in various different ways. It improves their behaviour and the way they act, it makes it so police now remembers who you are and makes the police a bigger challenge in general.
Main Features:
Overhauls police chases and makes it more challenging and realistic. (By Adding in Lethal Force, etc...) Adds in player recognition systems which allows police to recognize the player after a chase has passed. (If the police saw the player during a chase of course) Adds in clothing & accessories recognition, allowing you to escape from the police by altering your appearance. Adds in a stolen vehicle system, which allows police to look for stolen vehicles and make you wanted based on it. Adds in police patrols that happen all around Los Santos and the surrounding area. (Optional) Adds in an entire new roadblock system for after you have escaped a chase. It attempts to block you in and prevent you from leaving the area. (Optional, WIP)
And more! Adds in fully functioning CCTV cameras. (Optional) Adds in Rooftop Snipers like in Grand Theft Auto IV. (Optional, WIP) Adds in a Martial Law System where you can make it so the Military patrols the streets instead of police officers. @unfuny1337 Improved police & response is a different type of mod. It's compatible with EPR and is not a better version of it in any way, both change / improve / add different parts of the police system.
This mod is great. It would be nice to add a traffic violation system. That would make it the simple and complete police upgrade mod. PS: When is there a new update? @AidenDem
I found bugs
for example
When they chase you and they recognized you, when you escape from their vision, they follow the map completely red and blue, this means that they barely see you regardless of the configured range, they look for you.
This misses the point of hiding since they know where you are all the time. deactivating the person recognition and leaving the self-help one but it does not correct it.
For the rest it is good, one or another error in the patrol AI but fine @AidenDem
@lucasso Hey, a new update will be posted in the next 3-4 months, I've been busy with life a lot recently though there is a downloadable beta available on my github page of the next version of the mod.
In regards to the bug, I'm not completely following what's going wrong, can you join the discord server and show me some video footage or screenshots so I can see what you mean?
Will this mod compatible with RDE 4.0.3?
This seems really amazing especially since Better Chases + is faulty rn. But how do you surrender? Can you add that in because cops just keep tazing me and not arresting me...

i like this mod very much but when they dont have lethal force authorization they still shoot me? is it bug or do i need to fix something. thank u for time making this mod
Man, i need some help. I really liked the mod but i realized the cops weren't recognizing me at all so i decided to change some settings but i'm unable to really understand how some values work since i want, for example, after losing the cops with the same car i want 'em to basically start the chase again if i go too close to 'em, something that ain't happening.
@RobertoBaq1107 Thats rather weird behavior, could you join the discord server and perhaps send me a video clip of what exactly is happening?
Or maybe it could be that your recognition settings are disabled? If the police keep forgetting who you are it could also be the clothing recognition acting up, try disabling that as a test and see if there are any changes.
I think i found the issue. I'm currently playing on build 3179 and i think your 1.3 wasn't working correctly. I downloaded the 1.2 to test and it now works as intended but, well, ain't your final version so the cops can even see thru walls xD
I'll try coming back to the 1.3 later to see if it works 100%. I'm on build 3179 cuz i got some other mods related to car selling and ATMs that get broken on newer builds.
@RobertoBaq1107 Your issue is probably that you aren't using the latest ScriptHookVDotNet, my mod is version independent so it doesnt matter which version of GTA you are on, just make sure you use the latest ScriptHookVDotNet (Nightly build)

@RobertoBaq1107 No, this is the final version of Evolved Police Response, I will only be bringing out additional bug fixes. I'm working on a new mod that will be a direct successor to this one with a lot more features.
As for icons, I would have no idea how to implement that UI wise, I'll look into it as I've also wanted to add in icons myself but never knew how to properly implement it.

I used this a some months back but have been using Los Santos Red. Anybody know if this is compatible with it by chance already? Would Love to run them both to see how it plays.
@bigwopgaming132 Sadly it isn't really compatible with Los Santos Red. You might be able to get some things to work running with it but I doubt it will be stable. You can test it out anyways if you want.
The reason why there's no 'real' compatibility (and probably never will be) is because both mods run on a different system. LS Red runs on RagePluginHook while EPR runs on ScriptHookV (& ScriptHookVDotNet) making it fundamentally different preventing me from creating compatibility or something. But if you want you can still try using both mods at the same time but I'm not sure if it will work.
