Description:
This mod allows players to rent vehicles in GTA V’s single-player story mode. Players can select any vehicle and offer it for rent to a pedestrian (NPC) by pressing a configurable key. The NPC will drive the vehicle around the map for a randomized duration, then return it to its original location. Players receive payment immediately upon accepting the rental.
Features:
Rent out any vehicle: Press the configurable key to list a vehicle for rental.
Accept or decline rentals: Offer can be accepted or refused using configurable keys.
Variable rental duration: Rentals last between 1 and 20 in-game minutes, randomly determined.
Immediate payment: Players receive a randomized payment between $30 and $100 when the rental starts.
NPC driving behavior: The NPC drives the vehicle naturally around the map.
Vehicle persistence: Rented vehicles remain persistent in the world even after rental ends.
Forced return: Press a key to make all rented vehicles return to their original location immediately.
Visual indicators:
Blue blip on the map while the vehicle is rented.
Green blip during forced return.
Clean NPC removal: NPC disappears after completing the rental, keeping the game world clean.
Fully configurable via INI file: Key bindings, rental durations, payment ranges, and NPC driving speed can all be adjusted.
Installation:
Install ScriptHookV and ScriptHookVDotNet v3.
Place VehicleRental.dll into the scripts folder.
Adjust settings in VehicleRental.ini as desired.
Launch GTA V and enjoy vehicle rentals!
