Had to change the open menu key in the config file, was set to NO_KEY. F6 (default key) is switch to Franklin.
Time doesn't stop while paused as others have mentioned (although the peds wont move etc), and it wont display time changing in the pause menu - but you have a Stop Time option for extended AFK.
Tested for a few hours, timed missions work and everything seems fine. The ability to pause properly would be great, probably not the mod's fault though.

Fantastic little mod.
I had my weather lockup on extra sunny due to other mods, this one restores weather cycles without messing any effects granted from other mods.
