Ive written an easier step by step guide for all whose game crashes and who want to keep their mods:
1. Remove /Grand Theft Auto V/OpenIV.asi
2. Look into the "mods" folder. These are your modified game files! Now search these in the root game directory and back them up (or backup whole game folder to make sure)
3. Take the files from /mods/ and replace the original game files with them!
4. Enjoy the game and all your mods then!
5. For new mods now you have to backup the file you're replacing every time now, because OpenIV's comfy plugin doesn't work on this ScriphookV anymore! You CAN'T use your /mods/ folder anymore for easy adding of mods!
To fix game crash on startup simply remove "OpenIV.asi"!
Any mods you inserted using OpenIV will stay in the mods folder but aren't usable anymore with this plugin :( but you can backup your original game files and then replace the original game files with those in the mods folder to continue using them!
This way all your mods, no matter if inserted with openIV or Scripthook mods will still work!! :)
