@Bamboozled , The interiors were great. However, the exterior building was low-res, the outer doors and window textures were still present on both buildings and there was texture loss on the main structure. Doesn't look like this was optimized for SP. Since others are having this issue, you might want to check on it. Been wanting this MLO after seeing it on a YouTube RP channel. Followed the instructions to the letter. Hope you fix it!
@Plutofy, Really don't think so. I have yet to play on or build for FiveM. But, I have seen a YouTuber named 'OneOceanTen' who had Menyoo working on his FiveM server. Maybe someone else knows more about this as I would like to know too.
@GabzV, I found the same issue just geisha did. Only there's way more issues with props on the ymap in the SP version. In addition to what just geisha reported (the explosion of trash cans was interesting), there is an Ice Machine stuck under the right side corner near the door and numerous props stuck part way into the building around it. Beautiful setup though. I look forward to using it again when you get things cleaned up.
Dang! You beat me to it. Hopefully, the one's I've got coming will be as good!
@planche, Sure. Give me the specifics of what to show you and I'll look them up.
@JG7834, Thing I noticed between 'half-assed' and 'phenomenal' builds is when the modder takes into consideration what the map is for. Who moves into a house or office building without access to a toilet? Did you take into account the building isn't sealed if it's supposed to be? Obvious space between walls and impractical use of space always makes for a subpar build. When building, I always ask, 'would I live/work here?' Beyond making a 'cool-looking' place or just making something to go into, what is it you're actually trying to accomplish? In all my builds posted and upcoming, I take into consideration 'why' a space should be built in and what elements need to go in. Once you figure that out, then it's about picking props that will help you accomplish not only the look you want, but making it a practical space. I think 'R' for all the cool stuff they did, really dropped the ball with interiors. But those wanting to build maps or MLO interiors don't have to think that limited. Now that I'm using Map Builder more, I've been able to cut down on props for structural elements which take up about 50-75% of my builds. Now, you don't have to go into crazy detail, but 'just enough' to get the thought across works just fine.
@planche, Good effort nonetheless. That it helps players with low-end rigs is still a good deal.
@JG7834, HA! Thanks. You're smokin' me on the downloads, so don't feel too bad. If it's any consolation, I built this thing back in '18 but hadn't figured out how to use OIV and Codewalker to get rid of those damn props inside the hallway! I only added a couple paintings in the hall and a couple lights just before uploading it. I always thought it was a waste of a beautiful property to not be able to go inside it.
@planche, hey man, I tried the latest update and no go. Same problems with horrific 'crayon drawn' shadows, blackout flickering and the terrain not rendering in the distance. I used the 'normal pc' setup because mine isn't all that 'low end'. I didn't see any increase in fps, though this time it didn't decrease like the first one. The time cycle set up in the 'update.rpf' folder you gave jacked the lighting all up. Night didn't get 'dark' until midnight and then it was almost pitch dark! Whatever the problem is, it's absolutely coming from the files that go in update.rpf. I pulled 'common.rpf' and 'x64a out of my mod folder, but forgot to remove the files from update.rpf then restarted the game. Same problem. I went back and cleaned up the update folder with 'clean files' and everything went back to normal. It would have been nice to squeeze more frames out but it ain't happening. At least not with my current setup. Thanks anyway.
I saw that. So that means her regular clothing won't fit then.
