@BasilTBL if you were not retarded, you could've read the description and have seen that you can toggle the effect in the menu...
@Lokoo @Bud_Spencer18 It doesn't replace visualsettings.dat and is compatible with any visual mod such as VisualV, Redux etc.
@Colby_Cheese_300
download NativeUI for the menu to show up. But I have experienced that the config file and menu don't really work as intended anymore. I have planned to release an update soon anyway, where the screen effect will be disabled by default and also some other imporovements.
@roraflores maybe you should read the instructions. it is described what files are changed within the x64e.rpf. So in case you you have a backup version of your x64e.rpf (which is mandatory if you want to uninstall this without having to reinstall gta5) just swap the files, and everything will be as it was before...
@stillhere hey... I am interested in the way you used the decal functions to get custom textures onto vehicles. Is there any documentation on the ADD_DECAL native that (I guess) you used? NativeDB doesn't really help much, I also tried to play around with ADD_CLAN_DECAL_TO_VEHICLE but so far no results. Maybe you can help me a little...
@EaGLe09x that seems strange... I cannot reproduce the problem on my end though, I am sorry.
@MrGTAmodsgerman Thank you very much. I will look into this rn...
@EaGLe09x if your system is not that powerful you may experience frame drops due to the rain texture on vehicles. sadly I can't really do much about it...
@Aquamarina then you did not install the script properly... make sure you have everything working.
@Aquamarina uh this is exactly what the mod does for you: it prevents the vehicles from becoming wet out of nowhere. Maybe you should try before commenting stuff like that...
@ExoticParallel hard to tell what is causing this. Most likely this is caused by another modification. Try to install it on a vanilla version of the game. That should work and would mean that there is a mod conflict. In that case I cannot really help. If it doesn't work on a vanilla version though it could be due to a system issue, for instance something set to read-only instead of read/write. But that is very unlikely.
what About a proper description? what exactly does it do? why should I download it?
@ToxicWarrior9153 Thank you, I'm glad it worked out for you
