What GCT and Dani02 merely pointed out is that using unlocked models and assets that were converted to V by an author can be edited for personal use but when shared publicly you need permission and it's common courtesy to credit.

If any it's admirable they keep their conversions unlocked in the first place when so many in this community don't... For obvious reasons as demonstrated.

Going all out when confronted with not doing so (asking permission upfront and giving proper credit) does not strengthen your plea. At all.

If you wish to unpublish your uploads, you are free to do so.

and i have them all in my game and countless others under a file i called trucklife that's why it was put with the same trucklife tag as my other mods that i created from rockstars content. all three of them were going to be part of the same package, the Rancher, Sadler & Slamvan, with modshop options, thats why i added bucket seats, the bobble head and the plaque was just building it slowly. but now if i release the trucklife sp attachment it will not feature this truck. and no body owns the name Rancher Sportside 4x4 (Classic) so just because i referenced the sport-side mod from IV don't mean i used his content because that truck and mine look nothing alike aside from the body style. all the extras are not the same as the ones on the IV style, the rear lights are not even in the same location, nor does that one have rear indicators. or a pipe exhaust attached to the back of it. and the rear Declasse logo is a sticker on his not a physical item attached to the rear tailgate. so again they are not the same styles or models that's why they taged it as the Rancher Stepside Classic and mine was taged as Sport-Side and SS . and if you don't like the way this truck looks simply don't download it an install it. there is nothing else to say about it that's just the facts

I did not create an account here just to haunt you, I just found your mod and noticed that I had no recognition for my original work. This could have happened to anyone. It's nothing personal, but professional. If you are not free to receive criticism, it will bring you down.
I see you're a beginner in modding communities, you do not even know how things work in this universe.

My mods are being moved to new websites with less restrictions, i'll also be making a personal Facebook page with the links to the mods i have created, TRUCKLIFE SP DLC is on hold until i can get everything organized and situated to give the mod users less of a hassle when trying to access or download my ideas and creations for their own game and single player experience. Special thanks to The mature adult, community for downloading, supporting using and sharing my vehicle models, more to come in the future stay tuned. will have videos, readmes, + more. the 5 mod community just isn't ready for my ideas and creations yet, and to avoid the childish drama and unwanted ignorance, the only mods that will be shared on 5 mods will be basic with hardly any features as the restrictions on here only limit the community's creativity.

Really. How much hypocrisy. Jxson prefers to insult other users of children instead of adding a simple note "original mod by GCT, ported by Dani02" in the description of mod. The Rancher, initially made by R *, was not a pickup. We did it, spent months working to build a new bed, new flashlights, new mudguards. The Credits is one of the fundamental rules of all modding communities.

This is not bow down to someone's, is it a way to refer someone for doing the original work, if you are so adult, where is your respect and ethics? Everyone should respect each other regardless of age.
You can use whatever you want, since you refer the original author for the work. This is how it works with published mods, it is different from mods for personal use. If you do not know how it works here, you'd better go back to Facebook or maybe write a book, I think it will be easier for you to write texts than to add a note to the description. @GCT since day one the mod has said credit to Dani02, for his old (stock) Declasse Rancher Stepside. from April 17, 2017 https://www.gta5-mods.com/vehicles/declasse-rancher-stepside, you do not have a model under your profile, so how am i supposed to know you had a hand in it, does this website come with a modders handbook with all the top modders names with contact info, original mods idea dates ect.. no so your argument is irreverent, no one has once said you or dani02 didn't make the original stock version of the truck, and if you did you should be please it impressed the community enough to wanna make a finished version of their own style of the same truck not get all upset someone didn't give you credit because they didn't know your profile, name or all that other jazz, it was a simple hey i have this in my game i made this version for myself to enjoy thought i would share it with the public, oh cool look at that truck i wanna try it, download and enjoy, end of experience, if it upsets you that much quit making mods for other peoples games and build your own game, than complain if someone adds onto your original work, 'cause your argument is simply retarded. your problem is you need to grow up get over it and move on with your life this mod has no effect on your life at all, you're just making it hold you back by getting upset over nothing on a public mod website.. good way to give yourself a friendly character, you are latterly trying to start an argument over the stupidest thing, you make a mod for someone else's game and you get upset when someone makes a better version of your old ass unfinished mod, really get real it's the damn internet don't like it simply don't upload your stuff dummy. bitching that you didn't get your way and crying about it isn't going to get anyone to agree with you..

@GCT and secondly i used parts such as the wheels from other mods, because an intelligent person would make use of already made resources not try or waste time and recreate parts that already exist, it's called collaboration modding, it's how a mod community is suppose to work together, but i can tell this is a modders Battle Royale not a professional mod community. so sit in your corner and cry because your model of the same truck was Ugly, no rear indicators, it was just lazy, so i made a better version, and i enjoy driving it around every time i play. ;) you should see the other mods i've made, you'd probably enjoy some of my custom vehicles, this was just a new version of an old shitty ass unfinished model, that i was working on slowly as a hobby, just think of all the ones i probably already have finished, could be one, could be none, but you'll never know...one bad apples spoils the bunch.

and yes my "ideas and creations" meaning the mods i create, all you see is the finished work not the process that went into improving a mod, just because you imported the same body style on yours don't mean you own the body style and that no one else is allowed to make models similar to a year old unfinished model of the same truck, and i'm sure countless others don't mind having all three of them in their games, if they choose to, so please don't take words out of context only caring about yourself, my ideas that went into improving and making my own style of the truck regardless how, it was still my ideas that went into making the Sportside more stylish for people with the same taste as me, if not get away from my cookie and cry in a corner because this model and Dani02 are not replicas so having all three of them in the game at the same time creates no conflict other than your personal opinion and dislike. and if you wanted credit next time you should ask or be polite about it, because crying about it is not how you get what you want.
