Been rather annoying when trying to knife someone who's lying down or sitting and they get kicked instead.

@insus100 a question: did you 'edit' any value, or 'add' more code? It seems to have more lines of code in its results.meta. I hope I could successfully make it up. :D

@FelixSG I just commented out the "kick with small and large melee weapon" lines. However I used the results.meta from the latest version of the game, and the file might've been updated, in case you have an older version. You can use notepad++ compare plugin to see what are the exact changes.

@fingersplinter I've just tried and it's working properly. Make sure you use MODS folder in OpenIV, and replace it correctly

I too found it annoying that the characters kicked while there is a knife in hand.
I had FTFR done already, so I followed the instructions and have commented out the similar spots in the XML manually as per yours and it works awesomely for me.

Hi guys, I'm looking to remove kicking entirely even when unarmed. I've gone through and deleted every reference to kick out of the results.meta file yet it still happens when unarmed against peds. have anyone been able to successfully do this?

I would like to implent the lines from this to the file I use for push and shove. I have no idea what I am doing, so can someone help me to merge these mods. Want to use with https://www.gta5-mods.com/misc/push-and-shove. Hope anyone can do it and eventually share with the community as a mod.

its crazy we even need a mod for this IV had a dedicated kick button and we could punch with BOTH hands.. its rare u can do a one 2 punch using both hands in gta5 which is ASSSSSS he just kick when ever he want and sometimes we just knock ppl out with 1 punch or a slap like its saints row 3 so lame.. they catered to children too much with this title

this was really cool when i used just fist when fighting i didnt have the kicking please dont fix that i actually really like it the kicking when in fights was really annoying but please don't fix it
