    @stillhere Works amazing, just like I imagined it would, thank you again. But for some reason, it doesn't allow me to enable high beams unless it's night or the weather is foggy. It also doesn't lower the animated headlights (Ruiner2, Tropos) when turning the lights off. I tried looking through the ScriiptHook.NET sources, and it seems that there is no separate native for that, so that'll do for now. Thank you so much!

    @Frazzlee I haven't noticed all this time... so this is just a quick toggle haha. Thanks for rating though!

    @Claude_Lib Did you try with different vehicles? I just tried it with Franklin's Buffalo at Noon (12) in Extra Sunny weather and I can toggle between Off, Normal, and Highbeam. Maybe it does not work for all vehicles..
    I'm pretty sure the animated headlights problem is a side effect of disabling the vanilla headlight control. I just tested with the Tropos and it is as you say, at night the lights don't flip down when the lights are off. In the day, the lights go up but go down right away.. sadly I've tried everything I could think of last night.

    (You can stop reading here lol) The main issue with this is that the game is forcing all vehicles during the day to only switch between either Off, or Highbeam. You can force the Lights to be always on, but the game still reports that it is switching between Off and Highbeams; However, instead of "Off" actually being off, the normal lights are on. Since the game still reports to my script that the lights are "Off" when they are in fact On, there is really no way to detect if the lights are really Off or Normal during the daytime, and this just makes a mess of everything lol. So this is mainly why I just opted for a simple toggle to switch between Always On and Normal headlights in the main release, and why I will not be uploading the versions I provided to you (Remix and Claude_Lib) as a new version. Damn R* and their weird functions!!

    @Zievs Thanks!!

    @stillhere I did try several vehicles and during the daytime it was only possible to switch between on or off. I couldn't tell if it was low or high beam, but there was no third option, clicking headlights button (switching between low and high beam) did nothing, and both clicking and holding headlights button when the light were off led to the same result. Anyway, never mind that. By the way, is there a simple way to stop it from working when I'm tuning the car at LSC or browsing through the Interaction menu? Just wondering.

    @Claude_Lib I'm grasping here but maybe the timecycle files have an effect on this? Sadly I don't know why it is not working right for you.
    About your last question, it is another side effect of taking control over the headlight controls. There's a way to detect if you are inside an interior type, and I assume LSC would be a particular type; so I can just block the headlight function based on that. But I don't know of any way to detect if the interaction menu is displaying, or any menu other than one created by the same script, for that matter.

    Are the values in visualsettings.dat given by SilverRST may be helpful for you? ;)

    I have not tested modify them personally but it seems to me that they decide when to switch the lights short and long.

    I tested these two settings and the game, unfortunately, probably ignore other values than 6.5 and 20.0 because the changes still as light switches, etc :(

    @Remix maybe the numbers have to be in a specific range? Try something like Sunrise: 19.5 and Sunset: 20.0. Maybe this way the game will think it's daytime in-between those times, and the rest of the hours, it is night..?

    Unfortunately, the game is stupid and despite the possibilities of configuration parameters responsible for switching the lights prawdopodognie ignores them because rockstar so decided.

    I found something else but it is not likely that, and nothing is impossible:

    @Remix ah that is very annoying. I don't know why they blocked the third light during the day in the first place, it is completely unrealistic!

    @stillhere only chance is to find the files weather and time are responsible for it. On the weather extrasunny operate 2 switches on and the weather smog, etc. already are 3 switches. There must be a possibility to change the setting to on weather extrasunny also worked 3 switches.

    @Remix Thanks for the video and detailed explanations. I can explain why this happens:

    1. In, GTA5, there is a function that can switch between 3 different light types, which are:
    A) normal lights: In daytime, it switch switch he's between off and high beam/long lights. At night, it is off-->short lights->long lights.
    B) Always off: the lights will always be off, no matter the time.
    C) Always on: in the daytime, it is short lights->long lights. At night, is it short lights->short lights->long lights.

    2. When turning on short or long lights and the engine is on using the custom script I provided, I set the lights to the Always On type. Then when the lights are off, I set it to the Normal type. So when you turn off the engine while the lights are on and then switch the lights, the light types is still the Always On type, so you can switch between short light and long light in the day, but can't turn the lights off.

    @stillhere

    Perhaps there is a way to work it so far + when the press and hold h or more -> changing light on the short but does not turn off when the key is released? Then we will gain a brief light, and at the time of switching the lights way switch changes to normal or high beam back and turned off the lights.

    Then we have combined two ways of old and new versions of modification + strange but can switch between off, long and short: P

    @Remix but I don't understand why put in this work, when you can already toggle between the two modes in the original release.
