If you want to use this mod together with another mod that replaces core.ypt, all you need to do is make sure that the Navy Revolver or Double-Action Revolver is always equipped.
The game unloads particle effects that are not stored in the base-game core.ypt file whenever you switch characters, finish a mission, etc. Equipping those weapons forces the game to keep that effect loaded.
However, if you use this mod as it is, you won’t have to deal with that issue, since I added that effect to the base-game core.ypt (meaning the effect is always loaded).
