Well it took them a while, but Hawk and Little finally figured out that plastic on guns doesn't make it tailor-made for terrorists, and decided to hop on the bandwagon Vom Feuer started ten years prior. Introducing the Destroy and Protect line, otherwise known as the D&P series, they debuted with the D&P 9, a 9mm pistol to rival the Vom Feuer Combat Pistol, and a worthy attempt to try and grab back the law enforcement market from the europeans. How did they manage this so successfully? Well they just undercut them of course. Where did they cut costs to make that possible? Well, let's hope we don't find out.
Lorified Smith and Wesson M&P 9, model bought from CGTrader and modified to work in-game. This weapon is a replacer for the Combat Pistol only.
Features:
Tints that can be customized.
Working weapon animations and attachments.
Working first person view and functional sights.
Custom magazines.
Known Issues:
Suppressor isn't lined up perfectly with barrel, only really noticeable if you look for it.
Installation:
Extract the files from the archive and put them in basically any .rpf archive that's from a recent update. Or you can do what I do, which is put modded weapons in an addon dlc, in which case I'd recommend using albo's one. Oh yeah, also, use your mods folder. Come on people, this isn't difficult.
Permissions:
Free for all to use in FiveM, singleplayer, etc.
Free to modify and redistribute privately, provided no money is being made.
Do not convert this model to work with other games.

Could you include the S&W M&P optional texture for it?
@polarhusky99 I could, but given the edits I did to the model, the default textures would be stretched and warped in places making it look really bad, so I'm not going to.

Is there a way to modify the model so that the player/peds grip the pistol properly up to the frame?
Your hands should be as high up against the grip and frame as possible to control the recoil along with your aim. Just thought I'd mention it since I haven't seen anyone mention this before. This is especially common with the Glocks that I've seen for GTA.
@benzenehexol Yeah, not possible unfortunately, simply to do with how the grip animations look. If I want the trigger finger not to clip horribly, then the gun needs to sit a bit higher in the hand than it really should. Some guns like the 226 don't have that issue, simply because of how the gun is shaped, but stuff like glocks are always gonna have that issue unfortunately.

@Anthonii Use a trainer to change tints, or buy the weapon tint in ammunation
Instead of messing with albo's mod folder, I used EMF (Easy Mod Folder's acronym). Simpler than replacing (and installing albo's oiv installer).
