INSTALLATION:
Installation Replace:
Use OpenIV to reach; common.rpf/common/data/ai, open weapons.meta and replace the corresponding lines with mine:
then:
COMPONENT_AT_AR_FLSH_REH
COMPONENT_AT_SCOPE_SMALL instead of MEDIUM
finally, reach: update/dlcpacks/patchday8ng/dlc.rpf/x64/models/cdimages/weapons.rpf and replace the game's ydrs and ytds with mine
For Addon:
Use OpenIV to reach: X:\Program Files\Grand Theft Auto V\update\update.rpf\common\data
Activate edit mode, right click on "dlclist.xml" then click on edit and add on the last dlc dlcpacks:/militarycarbine/ then save.
After that drag and drop "militarycarbine" inside X:\Program Files\Grand Theft Auto V\update\x64\dlcpacks
SPAWN NAME: WEAPON_MILITARYCARBINE
Changelog:

-2.0 Did some minor changes to the magwell, added replace version which emulates Beta and IV carbine

how do you add the carry handle to the gun?
@bozo gaming the carry handle is available only for addon version.
@TheRAF3D1 After installing the replacement version I noticed that my flashlight and scope wouldn't be added to the weapon at all even when selecting both of them in Ammunation. I don't know why this is. Can you help me with this please?
@TheRaf3D1 I also noticed in the images of the mod, the suppressor is at the end of the muzzle, yet for me, the suppresor swallows the entire barrel whole! I could be just picky but is there a way to fix this like the scope and flashlight issue?
@SideRazor the replace version is different than the addon version, the suppressor is supposed to do that in the replace version, following the images of the beta carbine rifle.
as for the attachments not appearing make sure you follow the readme, replace the weapons.meta with mine or copy the carbine rifle section from mine to yours

@SideRazor i have news, basically it seems like you cannot replace components of vanilla weapons since they are hardcoded in the game, this was an error on me, i am deeply sorry, never found out until now.
No idea how to fix it since i am not a scripter :/ put back the standard attachments if you can
@SideRazor and restore this line in the scope section of the carbine rifle <FirstPersonScopeAttachmentOffset x="0.00000" y="-0.0100" z="-0.0280" />
will make do, the gun is animated to hide the sights anyway when in first person

@SideRazor restore the vanilla components, replace them with the old ones from update rpf weapons.meta, they will work like that
