Excellent Mod. Works great!
@Nateo Should be fixed now!
@3_Washing_Machines For some reason I got a ScriptHookV error with this new updated 1.0.1. version. It didn't happened right away, I was able to play for about 15 minutes before the error popped up. Here's the splash window of the error so you can get a better idea of how it looked like > https://imgur.com/a/sp3yIDD
@JAM102970 That's weird. Thanks for the screenshot, looking into it now!
What traffic mod are you using ?
@JAM102970 I fixed it, I found stale entity handles that could cause the game to implode.
@Adas8812 I run my own modified popgroups.
Nice, really nice. It adds some more variety to the otherwise dull originals. Well done! :)
This mod has great potential and does make some cars look much reallu realistic but some of these colors really make no sense for certain cars. Especially the combinations of colors can sometimes look like clown cars honestly. Is there anyway I could maybe tweak it myself to keep it more like real life?
It seems that the vehicle's color changes when you switch characters. This applies even to vehicles that were spawned and customized by the player, like I would have Michael driving a red and yellow Banshee and when I switch back and forth from Franklin, he would be driving a blue and orange Banshee with a different livery. Possible to fix this?
@Unsearchably Should be an easy fix actually, thanks for letting me know!
@Janus_ Try setting realistic vehicle colors to true. In the next update I'll fix the color spamming when it exchanges non realistic combos.
@3_Washing_Machines My friend I think you peeled the right banana here with this 1.0.2 update! I didn't get any shv errors this time, gameplay was smooth and I was able to play for a long time, so it seems you fixed that issue. Now there is one question I want to ask you though, how do I diminish vehicles spawning in traffic with "two-tone" colors? I don't see an option for that in the ini. The percentage of vehicles that spawn in traffic with two-tone colors is very low but still some cars spawn with like half blue and half fuchsia colors driving around, some blue and yellow splits, some with lower pink color and the top is like cyan. Considering we're in 2026, it does looks somewhat unrealistic. I noticed in the comments that "Janus_" sort of mentioned something similar to what I'm talking about but, me personally I wouldn't call some of the colors "clownish" like he said but, it does seems unrealistic seeing cars with "two-tone" colors driving around when we're in 2026, if you get what I'm getting at. If I were playing gta 5 like back in the 1970's and 80's I wouldn't mind that at all but, we're in 2026 and realistically you don't necessarily see that many cars in traffic nowdays, in real life, with two-tone colors. It's no big deal per se but, it would be nice to maybe have an option in the ini to diminish that. By the way, I forgot I haven't given you stars yet, this is an awesome mod so it deserves 5 stars from my end.
Sometimes, or basically most of the time the color combinations don't make any sense
@JAM102970 I've just released another update, I've made it so that you can disable/enable two-tone colors per request. Colors should feel much more realistic in this release. I need to move on to other projects now, so I hope this version lands a lot better with people.
can I ask something ?
Does this mod only change the color of traffic in GTA V’s story mode, or does it also spawn online vehicles in traffic? I have a custom-configured popgroups.ymt file. MP vehicles are spawning everywhere in traffic. Does it also change the colors of those vehicles, or does it only support the car models you’ve defined?
For example, I’ve added the Ignus, Suzume, S95, and Cyclone2 models. Will the colors of these models also change with your mod?
@atasoy35 This mod does not add add-on traffic. It simply recolors vehicles that spawn naturally in the world. If your popgroups include add-on or MP vehicles, and those vehicles spawn naturally, this mod will recolor them as well.
@3_Washing_Machines hey hlo hope you are doing good well mod works perfectly fine but has some performnce issue with my high end device
The more traffic spawns on high fps minor stuttering can be seen to ensure this is due to mod i removed it and there no 0 stutters
Plz fix it seems like it is taking a bit more cpu overhead as there are variety of colors to be there in traffic
Or tell me what settings to off to solve my issue
@3_Washing_Machines thanks, good work!
Another question- when using this mod - should I change vehicle variety multiplier in the settings.xml file for greater effect? I know that vehicle variety multiplier changes types if cars you see on screen. I read all over the place that even going above 1.000000 causes problems but can I change it and will I experience stability issues (crashes to desktop that kind of stuff), or performance issues? Changing to say 3.000000
