@Cass "i found a (breaking)bug, somewhere in the peds.ymt file, the first mission with mary-ann, (jogging), her scripted pathway's are messed up, she keeps running in a straight direction, after i changed the peds.ymt with a original one, she followed the path correctly."
Your efforts are appreciated.
LMAO good job made!
It doesn't look fantastic but the mod does say Insane Rain and the rain is indeed insane so, 10/10 consistency.
@chriszz24 @ShakeZone I'd argue the mods folder hasn't been created in your installation? I'd recommend using the game folder itself and have a backup of the update folder. But normally the mods folder from OpenIV should work fine.
@SLY95ZER You might have a case of the FTFRs. My wantedtuning.ymt will make WOV crash on any version, at least so far that's what I figured, upon removing that file the game loads and both mods work as expected.
@Arensnuphra I'm currently updating FTFR and version 2.5 will be available today or tomorrow (for 1604.1 and compatible with WOV v6).
@jedijosh920 Good job and keep it up.
@cp1dell Yes but there can be multiple witnesses.
Ultimately I've been using the slow mo aim for the longest time, that makes me take care of things more easily, so I can understand that someone without the mod may want to ease things up with only one witness at the time.
But, if the aim is realism, then it's not there yet is what I'm saying. There are always scenario with more than one ped are witnesses. We'll see how RDR2 does it, but RDR is 8 years old, and outdated on many aspects, since Rockstar always aim for realism, and that's what most of their users want.
@Warburg_ Very interesting stuff, brings more to the table, I'm actually a stealth junkie and been working on bringing new features since 2016 with FTFR, but all through soft modding.
The thing I would focus on is tracking more than one ped.
Also, know that there are a few things that are already available through soft modding. I invite you to check out my features.
@sinsinz Have you installed Open All Interiors or some kind of mod that dramatically increase the number of icons on the map? Cause that's the problem then. And I think the solution is with gameconfig.xml with icon numbers, not sure exactly, you'd have to Google the solution.
And what do you call smooth game? A bug free experience or a stutter/low fps experience? NVR can give you dips but it shouldn't be that significant. And all the mods you've mentioned are compatible together.
@sinsinz You have to make a choice between the two. Look at the files and see what's conflicting, you can't install both.
My advice is to make two copies of update.rpf, install FTFR on one, and the rest on the other, test the two mods, see what fits you best.
